BOAD was selected as the lead designer for the revitalization of downtown Rockville Connecticut. The project includes 200k square feet of office space that would be owner occupied by the client. In additional a 100k square feet of mixed use and retail that included a gym, doggy day care, art gallery, restaurants etc. The goal of the client is to make this area a destination with spaces for outdoor dining, walking paths and parks, and in a creative way, reintroduce the water way that once flowed through the downtown in the early 1900's. I was asked to design something that felt like the old mill towns of New England, which rockville once was, in an authentic and sustainable way.
